The basics of using Calc-Class.
The product today
Calc-Class turns a typed, pasted, or photographed math problem into a reviewable, interactive calculator you can share with students. It is offered as-is, currently free, with no billing or paid plans processed on the site.
Accuracy
Claude interprets each problem, but every number shown is independently recalculated locally, and you review and can edit the detected values before a calculator is confirmed. Even so, automated interpretation can be wrong - please check a calculator's values before sharing it with students, especially for anything graded.
Your content
You're responsible for what you type, paste, or upload. Don't upload photos containing other people's private information. Calculators you mark public (via Explore) can be viewed and duplicated by others; calculators you don't publish are only reachable by people you share the link or code with.
Accounts
Teachers sign in with a magic link tied to their email. Students can use a shared calculator without an account, or sign in to join a class with a code. Keep your sign-in email secure - anyone with access to it can access your account via a fresh magic link.
Changes
Calc-Class is under active development. Features described on this site reflect what's actually built today; we'll update this page as the product changes rather than describe features that don't exist yet.
